Effect of the quality of Acupuncture on Variation of temperature in the Warming needle

Abstract
|
|
|
The classic and contemporary books recording warming needle were studied. The results were as follows;
1) The classic books called warming needle as Shi-Ja, Bun-needle, of fire needle, and considered is as a sort of fire needle. But between them is the differences, at all.
2) Warming needles were applied to the diseases caused by the cold obstructing Kyung-Rak and Gi-Hyul-Bi-Jeo and weak-cold syndromes, but it was not use for the realhot-syndromes.
3) The heating power as a sort of the quality of Acupunctures are in order of Silver·Gold·Copper·Tungsten·Stainless steel needles.
4) The heating power as stronger when using moxa wicks than using match fires.
According to those results, it is considered that the mixing use of warming needles and fire needles is to be put to right the much apporaches on warming needles is to be made when seeing that they are used in Wind-Cold-Moisture diseases these days.
